Standard Tuning - $150

A well-tuned piano feels better, sounds richer, and makes every note more enjoyable to play. Our unique piano tuning service brings your instrument back into balance with careful attention to pitch, tone, and overall musicality. We utilize ear and specialized technology to create the stretch that your piano and your ears long for.

Whether your piano is slightly out of tune or hasn’t been serviced in years, I’ll help restore a clean, even sound so it’s ready for practice, performance, lessons, or everyday playing.

If a pitch raise is required there is an additional $50 fee.

Standard Pitch Raise – $50
If your piano hasn't been tuned in ahwile or is more than 8 cents flat and you want its pitch raised to 440 (standard concert pitch), and it is determined that it can be done safely, the flat rate is $50.00

Regulation  (Ask for Quote)

All pianos should be regulated about every 5 years so they will continue to work properly.  Most pianos do not receive the proper service and, over a long period of time, become sluggish and do not play like they should.  I often see very expensive pianos that have not been properly regulated and play very poorly.  After my regulation service, you will notice a wonderful change in the touch, tone and feel of your piano!  A properly regulated piano is a joy to play.  Proper regulation can make your piano feel new again!

Hammer Voicing – $150

Does your piano sound bright and harsh.  Do you remember when it sounded full and round?  Over time, the hammers become hard and compressed.  This happens because they hit the strings thousands of times as you play over the years.  Voicing can include reshaping the hammers and using special needles and tools to soften the hammer.  We also use the revolutionary Rapid Voicer System which enhaces the sound of your piano.
